Zibo 737-800 v.3.55 for X-Plane 12

Featured Replies

And, btw, in this youtube, the author arrives to the very same conclusion I did - The Zibo beats the PMDG 737...

I must say the PMDG 737 was my best buy for MFS, and would be the only reason for me to keep using that platform if I hadn't totally given up on it, but that's also because I finally found the time to install and configure and explore the myriad of details and the quality put into a FREEWARE 737 which is actually what we can call - Study-Level!

version.txt shows "3.55" ? ? ?

That is where I initially looked after installing the Zibo v3.55 and the 3.9 Update.
The text file (where the current version should be) still showing v3.55 lead me to believe the update did not install properly.

In the next post here Bob (onebob) mentions :
”Click on the '?' on the Zibo tablet should show the correct update”.

Note:
Xplane11 Zibo 737 shows the correct version in the version.txt file.

in that same time he could have changed one number in the version.txt file, but that would be too easy and eliminate any confusion. and who would want that?

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Thanks for posting the link of  the comparison between the ZiboMod/PMDG 737-800 in the xplane/MSFS. always wondered what the PMDG was like as I never purchased it for P3D.

Surprised he did'nt mark the Zibo down after the ILS failure , however that was most likely due to the course for both pilot and copilot was incorrect ie 000 and 350, 360 was set both sides for the PMDG.

Also noted the Yaw damper was off throughout the flight for both, just wonder what effect this would have.

Excellent video showing side by side comparison.

OK!  Today's 12.04r1 solved my loading problems with the Zibo 737 EA 4.0.

I can now load a flight directly with the Zibo again, without having to first load it with another LR default aircraft like the C172 or the LR 738.

I did not tick the "Zink" option, because I don't know if I should since I'm on Nvidia...

So, did you actually get R1 or R2 ?

Was Zibo 737 EA 4 just released?

It's R1, sorry, I had mistakenly written R2 and changed it meanwhile.

EA4.0 is already available from here: XP12 – Google Drive

Hi Bob,

I got an e-mail (forum reply) that quotes you as saying:

"Yes R2 has just been posted and had my first ziboMod run without a problem.

bob"

But there was no comment in your post here?

What happened was after the latest update the ZiboMod worked without loading the c172, tried it three times , so I posted to say it was working, on the next try it was back to a freeze. So I deleted the post .

so we are back to looking for a solution

Bob,

Ok, thanks for the follow up information.

Glad to hear you had it working.

So far I have also tried with "Zink" On and Off (restarting XP12 after each change) but Zibo737 has always failed on my setup (WIN11) unless I select the Cessna first then Zibo737.

Well, that is encouraging.

I will be on the PC with XP12 today for a few more tries.

No luck so far without loading Cessna first.
