"Your bandwidth is too low for data streaming, you have been switched to offline mode"

Lately I am receiving this message very often. Obviously this is because of problems on the server side. I have a very stable fiber optic connection without any hickups and have (almost) never received this messege before.

But why o why must the simulator pause when you get this warning. It's very annoying coming upstairs seeing my simulator to have paused for the last hour or so.

Robin

I have never seen it paused when that message pops up. ??

There is already a VERY long thread on this in the official forum. This might give some hope this will be amended in the next SU. I really doesn't make any sense.

Kind regards, Michael

It's never paused here either. It just kills all control of the plane/heli until you click the message away. Always fun when it happens coming in to land in a helicopter 😐

That is what I see all the time when the message pops up.

Yeah, thats a different message.

This is the one I receive and unless you press OK the simulators pauses.

The green message you mean with connection lost and restored does not cause any simulator pause.

I got this message 6 times after the last update and at 4 of them the sim crashes seconds after pressing OK.

This refers to the "connection lost" message. It doesn't pause the sim but halts it until you click "OK".

Kind regards, Michael

Same here, and it prevents inputs from my joystick until I click the OK. Typically appears half a second before I need to start my landing flare!

The simulator stops flying for me (it should for everyone, really). If you check the coordinates where your aircraft is at, it should be stopped (with an ACARS program or even online - IVAO, VATSIM...).

This, along with the "ready to fly", is another thing that puzzles me. Such intrusive popups shouldn't even be considered in a simulator, or at least give us an option to get rid of them. Flying online and having one of these come up is ridiculous because you will be stopped on the map for as long as the popup is on screen. Priorities...

Cool ! Maybe this is the only way you can get actual true sim pause ! Pull your connection !

(And not this lite-pause where all the planes and clouds keep moving)
