March 19, 20233 yr I've got both the King Air and Bonanza Black Square Analog's. In both aircraft after about 10 mins of flight the avionics go dark or blank. Can some please explain to me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this. I've tried both the battery and avionics master with no luck. Thanks guys! John Snyder Jr

March 19, 20233 yr I can only comment on the KingAir: you need to perform the start-up procedure as follows: - Start engine 2, mixture lever to low after 20%NG - Shortly after 50%NG, when the engine instruments make a small jump, switch off the starter button for engine 2 and switch on generator 2. At night, reset gen ties. - Repeat for engine 1. - Switch on both inverters and check voltage and annunciators. Peter

March 19, 20233 yr I have to agree with Peter, specifically this: - Shortly after 50%NG, when the engine instruments make a small jump, switch off the starter button for engine 2 and switch on generator 2. At night, reset gen ties And repeat for eng 1. Mario Di Lauro

Just selecting the On position doesn't get the generators on-line. Also, if the Generator(s) are not on-line, you'll have an annunciator light illuminated.
