For those who may have been underwhelmed by my recent video of the Working Title (WT) AAU2 Beta Release #1 747-8 doing a full descent and Autoland, here is the 787 doing the same at a different airport. (KMEM)

The difference is night and day. According to WT the 787 is an iteration or two ahead of the 747 but all planes will perform equally at the end of the 30 day beta. Patience friends. Good things are coming.

I hope they also include a good jump ahead feature into the MSFS longhaul planes. Otherwise I will probably never use them, simply neither the time nor any need to fly 8h or more in RT...

Just did a Autoland into Lepa in the 787 and it worked flawlessly. Appreciate the work WT are putting into both of these  aircraft.

787-10.

There is a good 787-8 over at flightsim.to.  Hopefully it can be made compatible with the WT upgrades.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Increasing sim rate works great in any WT aircraft. I use 4x all the time with the CJ4 and Longitude even in VR.  I am sure you could get away with 8x, just don’t let it try and do a 90 degree turn. I flew from the bay area to Hawaii the other day. 6.5 hour flight in RT but I did it smoothly in my usual 2 hour block.

I foresee many a UAL 787-10 trips.
