NVIDIA GeForce Experience Problems

Featured Replies

Just a heads up.

New machine, still configuring MSFS.  Yesterday, in an effort to see frame rates, a youtuber suggested GeForce Experience.  Started it and immediately MSFS Changed.  Lost ability to access Preset Manager while modifying a profile, lost progress bar when MSFS starts up. Don't know what else went in the bit bucket.  Checked the great world of information (and disinformation) and found something called Game Overlay.  Turned it off, rebooted and now everything is back to normal.

Bum Scoop!  Problem was with the windowed mode.  Works in full screen.

Another option is XBox Game Bar... Windows key + G.

Performance tab can show framerates, in addition to RAM and VRAM utilization.

Or the classic, MSI Afterburner. If you really only want to see FPS, you can also just enable devmode and turn FPS on. Easy as that...

Thanks for the options.  I'll check them out.

I am using Geforce Experience in windowed mode all the time.

By the way: What is a Preset Manager?

Never mind that, what's an FPS?

FPS, short for Flaps per Second.  Crow, slow; Humming Bird, fast!

Thanks very much. That cleared up something that has puzzled me for years. 😄

That is what I use all the time.
