July 20, 20232 yr All, has anyone had trouble with aau2 and Kuro mods for the 787’s. I cannot get MFD’s and CDU’s to start up on the -10 and on the -8 none of the screens start. I do not have any other mods installed for these aircraft. I have power to the aircraft via the apu, however using ext power is the same. I have deleted and reinstalled both and tested the -10 without the -8 installed with same results. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks Phill Dant Phill Dant
July 20, 20232 yr Do you have any hardware such as a yoke or TQ that might have a switch assigned as an avionics master? Is the IRS aligned? Those would be my first thoughts... July 20, 20232 yr You should check you don't have any other previous B787-10 mod and B787-8 mod installed (from other devs). They are not needed anymore, even for the Kuro latest mod version v2.00 Edited July 20, 20232 yr by edpatino Cheers, Ed MSFS2020 Steam // Rig: Corsair Graphite 760T Full Tower - ASUS MBoard Maximus XII Hero Z490 - CPU Intel i9-10900K - 64GB RAM - MSI RTX2080 Super 8GB - [1xNVMe M.2 1TB + 1xNVMe M.2 2TB (Samsung)] + [1xSSD 1TB + 1xSSD 2TB (Crucial)] + [1xSSD 1TB (Samsung)] + 1 HDD Seagate 2TB + 1 HDD Seagate External 4TB - Monitor LG 29UC97C UWHD Curved - PSU Corsair RM1000x // Thrustmaster FCS & MS XBOX Controllers

Just guessing: have you turned your batteries ON before starting the APU or the External Power?. Those would be my first thoughts... I have the IRS switched on. The panel should light up when there is power to the aircraft. No avionics switch. 43 minutes ago, edpatino said: You should check you don't have any other previous B787-10 mod and B787-8 mod installed (from other devs). July 20, 20232 yr I would start by removing the mods and using just the AAU2 update - the now default 787 without any other mods in the community folder. You may have another mod that is impacting this plane - some of the lighting mods do that. Remove all mods from community folder (CTRL-X them to a different folder, or use Addons Linker) and then follow the checklist. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
July 20, 20232 yr Had the same problem and saw that my HC throttle was still connected. After dis connecting the throttle the 787 was back to normal.
July 20, 20232 yr Just to confirm that you do have the MSFS Premium Deluxe version? Have you tried uninstalling the B78X and reinstalling it? Just turning on the battery will give you power to the right side pfd's and fmc, and afaik once you select the IRS align to on the other displays will turn on. July 21, 20232 yr I ran into a very similar issue yesterday. I have a Honeycomb Bravo quadrant, and one of the default configurations to a switch was "Avionics Master 1 OFF", with no binding to turn it "ON". So when that switch is pressed, it turns the screen completely off. Check any controller settings to make sure nothing is turning them off. If there is something that turned them off, you might have to bind a control temporarily to turn them back on. Hope this might help you as it did for me 🙂 21 hours ago, joe cooper said: Had the same problem and saw that my HC throttle was still connected.
