I'm wondering if this is correct. I thought the default pilot models were having correct size. In such a case, isn't it the plane exterior model that is too big ? From what I have read on another forum, the plane looks too big, especially when parked next to a default aircraft. Edited August 9, 20232 yr by Daube Reformulating my remarks
August 10, 20232 yr Hm, I thought it would be first day buy, but the review makes me wait a bit. SSW make good airplanes, but their support is really bad. I love the F-104 and the TF-104, but like Ron, I dumped the G-91.... Regards Gunter Schneider

I paid what I consider to be a lot of money for the G-91 and F-104, so if they are not going to support them properly, I absolutely cannot see the point in putting any more money in their pockets. And this scaling / size issue seems to be quite a basic error. Do they think people would not notice? Like you, I would love a 260 in my sim, but it won't be this one. August 12, 20232 yr Been waiting for this release for a long while, the realair release was my first FSX addon AC many years ago. Amazing aircraft, but unfortunately this release seems it's not yet ready for prime time. August 13, 20232 yr Purchased this one yesterday and did initial flight testing today. The flight model is pretty bad. From what I can tell, the creators did not use the Asobo/MS SDK to create the flight model. Many switches in the cockpit do not function. The flight model can be fixed but not without a good bit of work. https://uchisworld.wordpress.com/2023/08/12/cannot-recommend-this-purchase/ My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.
January 23, 20242 yr Couldn't resist the sale price and bought this last black friday. In VR it is a beauty to behold both inside and out, but that's the only thing positive about it. As an AC known for its use in precision acrobatic formation flying, I find this sim's flight characteristics like trying to walk a german shepard that's spotted a squirrel, plus its graphics cost me about 10 fps compared the likes of the Just Flight PA-28 Arrow. As we used to say, this sim is now shelf-ware. I have their G-91 and F-104 and I would describe their flight characteristics also as bad. Flying the procedures as described in the manual causes an inescapable crash. But that has nothing to do with the sim. Edited January 23, 20242 yr by fsiscool

I like the 260 so I nearly bought this as well, but I looked for some feedback on the internet while having a cup of tea and a biscuit. The feedback wasn't the best, and in fact, seemed quite negative, so I decided to leave it. Edited January 23, 20242 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). MSFS is wonderful/excellent/etc., the sim SF-260 experience can't be described using polite language. Yeah, should've know better. But dang, it's VC rocks in VR (and the AC literally does too when in flight). They do improvements and updates, but quite slowly. I had an update to the F-104 just recently, and that is quite old. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). May 5, 20251 yr Did anyone buy the version compatible with 2024? I did, and I cannot get the plane to fly because there is no way to remove the pitot cover, not during the walk-around, and it does not disappear when spawing on a runway. Regards Gunter Schneider

This problem got me at the first flight. It can be removed during the walkround with the mouse or Xbox Controller after starting the flight at a stand. Good luck
May 6, 20251 yr Thanks, I did not have enough luck. The mouse does not grab it, it never changes from the usual arrow and so the cover cannot be selected. Very strange! Regards Gunter Schneider
