I guess I should I become a developer. You can pump out low-quality aircraft, rarely update them, tell people your aircraft are meant to be low-quality (!), and people will still celebrate you for being honest and buy your stuff.
I wonder if that works for other things too? "Hey guys, I got a Porsche for you for 2/3 the price of a Porsche, it looks bad and can systems-wise only go as fast as a Volkswagen, but that's exactly how it's meant to be because my Porsche is aimed at people that want a subpar looking Porsche that doesn't overwhelm them with being fast. And if something's broken don't expect it to be fixed for months, because I have to create a new Ferrari that isn't a Ferrari because well I have to eat three times a day you know?"

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

hey be my guest and do become a dev, lets see what kind of "quality" you can deliver right?
if it is honestly advertised as a "lite" product, and you still buy even tho you want high fidelity aircraft....guess whos the word not allowed in that story...

You would prefer they lie ? Bizarre.  I appreciate their honesty which saves me money as I do not buy their products knowing what they exactly are. The Stearman was a heartbreak  but I stayed firm - no ground looping tendency, no buy  😁 !

There is a market for their products which I wouldn't nastily demean as low quality BTW but say that they are lacking in depth.  Who are you to decide what is good for the simmers  who look for easy stuff ?

Simming since 1981 -  [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam

For those who purchased the F-4 through the Marketplace (well, the only place available to purchase at the present time), a patch is now available on Flightsim.to to activate the F-4's weapon loadouts, along with loadouts for all other DC/SC Designs Marketplace purchased warplanes (PC users only):

Since this started as a Phantom II thread, let me say I’ve been flying it since the release last week and am very happy with it. There are some minor issues here and there, but DCD has already put out an update. The F-4 is quickly becoming my favorite plane to fly in MSFS.

Quick? Did somebody say Quick? (Force feedback chair rocking backwards violently). (Not really I don't have a haptic pivoting chair).

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I agree, DC/SC Designs make low quality planes in terms of texturing. doesnt match the standards of msfs 2020. Maybe he could focus in xplane or Prepare 3D, simulators than are less graphics demanding.

To this day, none of the start sequence is correct,

If you think it's bad on the Viper, wait til you get a load of the Tomcat 😉

Though they're steadily improving (particularly since Codename Jack joined the team), THIS is what happens when there's no competition.

I believe that once India Foxt Echo and Just Flight start releasing their Fast Combat Jets that DC/SC will have to either lower prices or up their game (significantly).
