Also does it cover well outside the US and Europe ? EDIT well the best is to try 😁. Downloading the free version. It has a terrain map feature, which I use when flying in mountainous areas.

Only updates once a year, had to jump through hoops when flying in different countries. PMS 750 works well, and everyone you can fly in MSFS. I got the paid subsription which is well worth it for all the features it add I tried the $30 one year subscription, but I am going to get the lifetime sub when my year is up. The other feature of the PMS 750, is if you have any issue at all with it, like I did a few days ago, going to their Discord , you post a question or problem, and sometimes in minutes, you will get a response from the developer. He solved my problem in about 5 minutes. I've never tried the F1 GTN only the RXP and TDS versions, so I'm curious what that required to do when your flew in different countries ?

The F1 GTN didn't have all the small airports in one setting, so you had to switch to another setting . It was a royal PIA.

August 2, 20232 yr As a very old Comanche pilot from the 1960's - I tick off "no GPS" on the tablet - and fly as I used to - back then😉

No problem with VLOC so far. To activate the CDI, I have to toggle between VLOC and GPS. No big deal. But the last flight, Bristol EGGD to Land's End EGHC RNAV 25 the deviation bar showed the deviation to the desired track but wouldn't move even when the CDI red flag was off. Any one of you having seen the same ? Checking before reinstalling 1.1. I think this is a known bug with the 530 where you need to cycle the CDI on startup to initialize the 530 correctly or it only half works.
August 2, 20232 yr During my last flight I gradually lost engine power until it disappeared completely and I had to make an emergency landing in a field, but the tablet showed no errors at all, everything was tip top, but after resetting the engine everything worked as usual again, what I can understand, it must be a bug, I will report the incident on their forum. No bug, icing ! Your carburetor got gradually frozen. Cold temp with humidity does that to you. You have too keep an hawk eye then at the cylinder temp Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam

I find the mix STEC2+a GPS a good middle ground. Also flying a semi-manual RNAV has its own challenge.
