August 17, 20232 yr Hey, Back years ago when I was into P3D, I remember FSFX Packages released a small, free effect addon called 'Make Thunderstorms Great Again'. It changed how the flashes from the lightning looked in the world, so they were less local and lit up like an actual lightning strike. Made a big difference. Unfortunately, the website is gone and I can't find it hosted anywhere else. Anyone have that addon they could share, know where it's hosted or know of an identical alternative? August 17, 20232 yr I recently flew in P3Dv6 in VR close to a thunderstorm with AS6 and the lightning was very realistic and terrifying-have you tried v6 yet?

Are these files meant to overwrite the ones in P3D effects folder? Edited August 17, 20232 yr by Butch1
