It takes much more than making OrbX Central compatible.

I know, that's why I wrote 'first step' in the title.

Good news ... not really that much effort to make Central work with P3D V6, but glad ORBX took on the job.

Next step would be gradual updating of all their scenery to PBR materials, dynamic lights, slopped runways ... since MSFS is PBR based they could probably leverage much of the work they've already done in MSFS with a few tweaks.

I wonder if there will be an extra charge to have Orbx products installed in P3Dv5 and v6 if they're both installed on the same machine but on separate drives. I have 62 of their products installed in v5. It'll be interesting to see how all this plays out.

Great news!

I have all my V5 Orbx products installed in external libraries. It may be just a case where I could point the V6 Orbx Central to those same libraries to get the existing products installed, with new V6-specific products handled on a case by case basis.

V6 support for some products now live in ORBX Central... orbxdirect listing some products as V6 compatible. I got too fired up, false start I guess!!

Doesn't help much when Orbx Central don't see P3D v6 yet....!  😏
