September 8, 20232 yr Awesome! Superb News !!! P3d Rulezzzz, and ORBX are GREAT !!! Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
September 8, 20232 yr Good news ... not really that much effort to make Central work with P3D V6, but glad ORBX took on the job. Next step would be gradual updating of all their scenery to PBR materials, dynamic lights, slopped runways ... since MSFS is PBR based they could probably leverage much of the work they've already done in MSFS with a few tweaks.
September 8, 20232 yr I wonder if there will be an extra charge to have Orbx products installed in P3Dv5 and v6 if they're both installed on the same machine but on separate drives. I have 62 of their products installed in v5. It'll be interesting to see how all this plays out. Pete Locascio Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Nvidia RTX 5090, Samsung 9100 Pro 2&4 TB Drives, 64 GB RAM, Asus Z-890 motherboard.
September 8, 20232 yr Great news! I have all my V5 Orbx products installed in external libraries. It may be just a case where I could point the V6 Orbx Central to those same libraries to get the existing products installed, with new V6-specific products handled on a case by case basis. John Howell Prepar3D V5, Windows 10 Pro, I7-9700K @ 4.6Ghz, EVGA GTX1080, 32GB Corsair Dominator 3200GHz, SanDisk Ultimate Pro 480GB SSD (OS), 2x Samsung 1TB 970 EVO M.2 (P3D), Corsair H80i V2 AIO Cooler, Fulcrum One Yoke, Samsung 34" 3440x1440 curved monitor, Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant, Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedals, Thrustmaster T1600M stick
October 2, 20232 yr V6 support for some products now live in ORBX Central... orbxdirect listing some products as V6 compatible. I got too fired up, false start I guess!! https://forum.orbxdirect.com/topic/218833-orbx-central-for-p3dv6/page/3/ Edited October 2, 20232 yr by Papacoach Win11 / CPU: 10980K at 5.0GHz / Memory: 32Gb at 3600 MHz / GPU: RTX 3090 / Display: Benq x3000i pj on Silver Ticket 110" screen
