Well, if we have a collection thread for videos, we might as well have one for screenshots. Any X-Plane release is welcome.

 

I'll start with some from XP12.06r3. I was flying out of a small, rain soaked airfield in the Brétagne when the early autumn sun started poking through holes in the thinning cloud cover, immediately bathing the default BE-58's cockpit in light and shadow. I've never paid attention to this before and it just blew me away at that moment.

 

After arrival at Guernsey, I went for another hop to test Autoortho. This was just a short island hop to Alderney, but it was the only sensible destination spat out by MissionGenerator. The late evening lighting was just superb.

 

A touchdown just in time to make it to the airport bar to enjoy the last rays with a drink.

Good idea have this Thread. The General Screenshots forum here at AVSIM gets a bit messy. 

This is at the gate at Sydney. Laminar or XP12 airport. A view so many people see and remember.

Avsim has a screenshot forum... there's a few XP posts here and there.  I know I post there.

I know. I just don't think this thread would fit there as it'd be buried under posts from other flightsims rather quickly. And I assume that hardly any of the regulars here go there as well to constantly dig it up.

Besides, one of my motivations was trying to bring more...let's call it "positive content" into this batttlefield of a subforum.

Yep, buried with MSFS screenshots that seem to be about 95%. Well tried. 

Beautiful set of pictures...yes, the clouds the sky colors look nice, and just right...!
