Pmdg 737-800 suddenly stopping

Featured Replies

Hi, I recently bought the pmdg 737-800 and I worked without any glitch until today. The same thing happened to me with the 737-900: When I taxiing(on VATSIM) I reached a holding short point, and I stopped, but when I wanted to resume taxiing, the plane just wouldn’t start. Parking brake off, auto brake off. The only way the plane would move was if I moved the throttles to maximum, but still , the plane moved incredibly slow.

As I said, the same thing happened with the pmdg 737-900, so do you have any idea how can I fix this?

Are you sure you have not pressed the key to activate "active pause"?

Check the maintenance page of the FMC. Sounds like what happens when the tyres burst or the brakes are stuck on.

Try to activate slew mode for a second. I sometimes get that issue too and it gets solved with it. You don't have to move the plane in slew mode just activate and deactivate it. Seems to unstick the plane from the ground when it happens.

Not sure what the cause is though.

The best place to ask would be the PMDG forums and/or submit a ticket for assistance
