I guess this was caused by an AI aircraft according to the log file. I had 15 AI active at the time of the crash, this happened after an otherwise uneventful flight, one hour into the flight:

Can almost gurantee those are old planes and have lots on non compliance issues. I doubt he is even working on them any more, projects like that grow.

out of interest that error message,  its from xplane team or the addon aircraft team ?

Laminar, any error messages from aircraft generally trigger a bug in laminar.

yeah right, "AI Airliners Traffic Pack - Requirements: X-Plane 12.05" from May 2023.

this is just frustrating to be constantly running into something, wrong plug-in here, fmod there, AI crashing, incompatible scenery library over there, outdated texture format ..... probably better to use just plain vanilla x-plane. tired of this non beta related nonsense,

No issues for me over here.  The problem must be on your end.

aren't we glad.

"The problem must be on your end. "

always is, because it is MY pc, MY configuration, not yours. but thanks for your helpful comment.

and as usual, the users fault, not the developers. 🤣

I did not develop this stuff, I am only using it, following the instructions as best as I can.

"1:14:17.684 E/ACF: Flight model error for aircraft: #9, which is path=Aircraft/AI/B737CL/Air New Zealand/B733.acf"

"The features currently used by the pack are as follows…

  • My work is to update the aircraft and ensure that they utilise the latest features of each release of X-Plane
  • In addition, each aircraft within the pack has been updated to ensure maximum performance possible using all techniques available within X-Plane 12.
  • All aircraft have been individually optimised for X-Plane 12's new 'AI-Only' performance features, improving FPS over using the default X-Plane 12 aircraft for AI.

"This traffic pack has been created because I was getting fed up with X-Plane’s lack of realistic air traffic"

getting fed up, I agree.

Oh well. Maybe contact the developers of the addons you’re using. Moving on. Back on topic.

"x-plane-1208b2-is-available"

and what works with it and what doesn't. I will just remove that specific AI aircraft from the pack and see how the remaining 8 are doing. interesting find in the .acf file:

No one mentioned in the topic, what works and what doesn’t. This isn’t a bug reporting thread. It’s a release thread.

As Goran has suggested any bugs should be reported via the correct channels. AvSim is for discussion, not bug reporting. Keep discussions civil without sarcasm.

You got global traffic? I have that working in XP12

it is not always immediately clear in a new beta version if a problem is introduced by the new beta version or by an existing addon, this is why I thought discussions with other users might be helpful and welcome, but in this specific forum obviously not.
