If you use the TDS GTN, this G3X will also display the WPT information correctly on the PFD.

No, I use the PMS50. What does your mod change exactly?

Personally, I prefer the RV14A, since I can equip it with the TDS GTN 750, which makes for a very nice cockpit..

@Bert Pieke, is there any way to get rid of the passenger?

I bought it to use with //42 Campout camp scenery series which are also on sale at Orbx:

//42 FreedomFox / Fox2 - Complete - Orbx (orbxdirect.com)

Was wondering the same, Someone stated that "In order to remove the copilot it must be done in the toolbar's weight menu (not the preflight aircraft menu) and the value must be input at "0.0" and not just "0". Not sure if it works... Ill give it a go.

If you bought it in the Marketplace, you may not have access to the flight model cfg file, where I set the copilot weight to zero.

station_load.0 = 200, -8.31917, -1.15, -0.9, TT:MENU.PAYLOAD.PILOT, 1
station_load.1 = 0, -8.31917, 1.15, -0.9, TT:MENU.PAYLOAD.COPILOT, 2

So try the in-flight weight and balance settings to do the same thing..

It is based on the WT work and changes the size of the airspeed and altitude readouts for better visuals, and fixes the missing WPT readouts at the top.  I have not tried it with the PMS unit, so cannot say..

I have the Steam version but tried the in-flight weight and balance settings anyway and that worked. Thank you.

Bert,

Does the RV14A come with an option for the TDS GTN750?

OK, then how do you select that option?  🤔   I ended up modifying the RV14A PMS50 panel.cfg file to get the TDS GTN750 working.

I am a bit confused (as usual!) regarding the GTN750 options "big picture".

Is the above your mod, or a mod from SWS? I own both the PMS50 and TDS GTN 750s, and when I loaded the RV14A (MP purchase) the plane came up with the PMS50 panel for some reason. So I modified the panel.cfg file to get the TDS GTN750 working since I didn't see how to switch GTN750s. What I would like to know is does SWS provide a convenient way to switch between the GTN750s, and if so, how is that done? The SWS website and the RV14 manual say both GTN750s are supported, but doesn't mention how to switch back and forth between the two GPS units. Thx.

How’s the CH701?

I really like it.  I already had the CH701 and RV-14, so I just picked up the RV-10 in this super sale.

The '701 has a beautifully textured cockpit and flies really well (I have 250 hours in a CH701 derivative and whilst the numbers are just a little off, it feels quite reminiscent of the real thing).

It's my go-to bare bones, STOL LSA in MSFS.

The manual says that you have to choose at install. Switching would mean uninstall / reinstall.. unless you choose via Addons Linker.  The marketplace may not give you the option..
