My proposition: keep Leo and the close to systray feature 🙂 Fear not, he will still be with us in full glory on the task bar, he just won't be hidden away as well on the system tray hidden icon list! This is an example of what a task bar will look like with the app minimised, as it currently does. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
December 19, 20241 yr Author Here https://github.com/ResetXPDR/MSFS_AutoFPS/releases/tag/v0.4.4.1-test is the latest test 3 version of the upcoming maintenance update to MSFS_AutoFPS. As recently mentioned, the biggest change will be to how you exit and minimise the app from now on. I'd appreciate it if some of you gave it a go and tell me what you think of this new UI method, which is actually consistent with how most apps normally operate. Edit: If you were quick enough to have downloaded and installed test 2 when I initially put it in this post, please update to test 3 as it fixes an issue inadvertently introduced in test 1 when adding a new camera mode exclusion where the session could try to become active before getting in to a flight because that camera mode became active then too. Test 3 also removes the user confirmation prompt when the app auto closes after MSFS has been closed. TL;DR - use test 3 or later. December 19, 20241 yr Tried this test version. When stopping the simulator the sim hangs on closing AutoFPS. After i close AutoFPS manually then the sim closes. Is it really necessary to include the Are you sure dialog box?

Talking about logo... to add more confusion, even the logo is the same on both KayJay's and yours of course... I still don't know which one I should truly use if they keep evolving both in their own direction. If I ONLY fly MSFS 2024, then I should use KayJay's ?

December 19, 20241 yr Test1 working fine, missed test2, now launched test3. When it opens, i have "expert options" selected. If i disable "expert options", then re enable it, the window is a little bit smaller in height. If i disable it again, I can only see "Connection status" and "sim values". Closed and relaunched, now i see only "connection status" and "sim values" but not fully, last line is cut. I try to reboot PC and see what happens.

I've already answered a similar question from you here, and here you are asking again which is a bit annoying. If it will stop you asking, I recommend you use kayjay's app and ask your questions in his thread instead. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

I much prefer how it was before. As the taskbar can become cluttered by many active apps, I always minimize to the systray when possible. BUT - for a while now I've been using a freeware app that minimizes apps to the systray (when such functionality is missing in the app). So it's not a big issue for me either way. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

I just tried what you did and it is behaving as normal on my end. Are you sure you are not double clicking outside the expert options box? Doing so will change what parts of the app window get collapsed per the readme and has worked that way in the original app from months ago: The user can progressively hide parts of the UI when the app window is double clicked anywhere that is not a control. The first double click will hide the expert settings section (if applicable), the second will hide the general settings section and a third double click will restore all hidden settings sections. The last state in use will be restored when next starting the app. It shouldn't be cutting lines off though. Please post a screenshot or message me one as you can just directly paste images into messages if that's easier. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

And by "fixed" do you mean it is actually fixed for your now? If so, for the benefit of others experiencing the issue, what fixed it for you? The one above. Whilst moving some files in explorer, I found I had accidently deleted the mobilight-event-module folder. Reinstalled and we are back in business. After uninstalling and reinstalling, it got better, but still something cut off. Hope links are working: https://ibb.co/2cRjpn3 https://ibb.co/v449pnt In one screenshot, it's cut right and bottom. Then if I "double clik" to close and open various sections, it's cut only on the right. P.S. As always, thanks a lot for your great job!
