Run as Admin solved that one 🙂

If you install this beta app, does it take care of removing both NCP and GFE? Or do we have to do this manually?

One still has to manually uninstall both.

I LOVE uninstalling stuff, so it was a pleasure 🙂

I deleted this app and went back to Geforce Exp, I was getting "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG" loading crashes since I installed it. Pointless exercise for me its only for this new AI filter. I never had an issue with geforce anyway.

GeForce Experience goes away and replaced by this.

Nvidia Control Panel stays for now as some of its functions are not in the Nvidia app

Think of it how Microsoft is trying to replace Control Panel within the Windows 11 Settings  but hasn't quite done it yet so Control Panel has to stay

I downloaded the beta app today. Made sure it doesn't optimize my MSFS settings.

I'll test the new RTX dynamic vibrance feature to see if I like it or not. Review by Island Sim Pilot yesterday: https://youtu.be/3McrKke6eaU?si=8Us2zG2HHljSruTd

Also, there are some exciting new features available through NCP: RTX super resolution and RTX HDR. Detailed FAQ here: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5448/~/rtx-video-super-resolution-faq

Pretty word not allowed sure those things do only apply on videos, as per title "apply those settings to my video content". There are some funny YT vids claiming that those settings have impact on games, but I highly doubt it.

Been doing some more testing. Filters are working. However there's a few caveats re: the new features:

  • RTX HDR and RTX super resolution won’t work together with any DSR or DLDSR upscaling.
  • RTX Dynamic vibrance won’t work if HDR is already enabled. All of this makes sense though.

I guess RTX Dynamic vibrance is a good option for users without HDR monitors. And enabling auto-optimize could be a good starting point for optimizing MSFS performance.
