March 9, 20242 yr Author I purchased the PMS50 (sale price) one year license. This will give me the opportunity to later check out the next new version of MSFS 2024 and the products reported to: Be ported and work with it as a free upgrade. Be ported and will require an Upgrade cost. Be a new product and require a full purchase price. Be available as a subscription or one time purchase. Notes: It may turn out that I just use MSFS 2024 as a default product for the first year or so. I had been using the PMS50 free version on the FSW Cessna 414AW Chancellor and the HPG H135/H145 and liked it a lot. For P3D4 and P3D5 I use RealityXP GTN750 v2 / RealityXP GNS 530W v2 / Garmin Trainer as needed (configured) with the FSW Cessna 441 and the FSW Learjet 35A. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

How much is the regular price for a lifetime license? is 50.00C the discounted sale price? Given that MSFS will be upgraded to the next version, MSFS 2024, it seems to me that purchasing a 1-year PMS license and later upgrading to lifetime is what makes sense to purchase. It assumes that the upgrade to the lifetime version for MSFS 2024 will cost only 30.00€. Is this the reason why you purchase a one year license? Thank you. Edit: I did some additional checking. Purchasing is convoluted. It's Saturday my time, and the free test version is only available on Thursdays. It doesn't make sense. 😞 Edited March 9, 20242 yr by Matt Sdeel

The PMS also has other features that simmers may like, but most are not realistic to the GTN. If someone was used to the trainer based solutions from RXP in FSX/XP/P3D, they would be very interested in the TDS GTNxi. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

A lot of planes in FSX/P3D provided built-in support for Flight1 but not RXP eg. Just Flight's Turbo Arrows and Carenado aircraft.

G Yes, the free version is not time limited but looking at the website comparison page, there's lots of features missing in the free version.

Sometimes we just want-ease-of-use in entertainment. For example, IMHO real and live music can't compete with a good audio equipment in the convenience of a quiet room.
March 10, 20242 yr I have both and used the PMS version since it's infancy. Always advocated for it and glad I did. Really wanted it for Navigraph and getting rid of those awful dials in the sim. Nobody likes those unless you have a physical device haha. Same with the 430/530...cant stand them in a sim for that reason. Too cumbersome. Fast forward to now and after owning the PMS lifetime version and using them in several planes... I can only say I like having both options. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
