Ok, I take that back. TAA is still better than DLSS/DLAA. It's noticeable in a glass cockpit.

I downloaded the images and switched back and forth. In this case DLSS/DLAA is a lot more blurry. I wonder what causes this in your case? Or in that particular example.

This is how DLSS+DLAA looks at my end (zoomed in screenshot from a 4K video I made yesterday):

I use DLSS+DLAA in 1440p and 1080p and it looks very good, as in Cpt_Piett's screenshot. I wonder why yours looks that bad.

Have you try to increase Render scale with DLSS+DLAA? it would be interesting to hear how that works, I use +130 with TAA on my 3440x1440 monitor and the difference in sharpness is significant on small text.

You can't increase render scale when choosing DLSS. It's a TAA only option.

Maybe DLSS version? I know some people upgrade the DLLs for MSFS. I haven't done that.

It’s probably a good idea as the MSFS versions are quite outdated. Actually from October 2022.

Yeah this is what I get whenever I use DLSS DLAA. Everything outside looks great but the glass displays become a blury mess. Fingers crossed Asobo fix it soon.

I upgraded the DLL to 3.6.0 and it is better, but not by a huge amount. I did notice that motion makes quite a difference. If you are sat still it looks a lot better than in flight. I do wonder if on airliners it may be less noticeable as you are often traveling much more smoothly compared to some little piston plane.

Anyone try DLAA with 3.7.0? Is it any better?

In the Nvidia control panel set Texture filtering to High Quality - that will help on bluriness and maybe even ghosting.

What baffles me is that they’re still on DLSS .dll 2.4.0 while the recent NVidia update is 3.6.0. Back in the early days of DLSS3 (October ‘22), NVidia showcased their new tech using MSFS. Still, microsobo for some reason haven’t kept up with DLSS updates at all…

 🤷‍♂️

Best guess is with the release of SU 15 so close they've held off.
