For G-Sync to work, MSFS resolution need to be set at the same as Windows resolution. Tested here local and lost my GSYNC 🤔

Indeed it does. I'm the one who pointed that out to Cpt_Piett. It works very well when all the resolutions match!

Interesting didn't work here local...what is your setup in terms of MSFS and Nvidia related to the GPU?

Ah. Thanks! They must be running in preset E then.

Just remembered them from my childhood. I bet they can be pretty addictive. Not as addictive as getting the latest DLSS version installed though!

I hope you have lemons, melons and cherries etc. on your slot machines in the US, or I will feel even more stupid.

We have them where I’m from. Well, obviously not the Executor. That would be something. No, on the ferries that cross the small pond over to your country. Where my kin gets stupidly drunk, making complete fools of themselves, and spend a bucketload of money on tax free shopping.

GSync monitor, 4k native. Running 1.78x DLDSR on a 4090 with frame gen and MSFS matching the resolution I've set in Windows. TrackIR tends to get stuttery (due to frame gen) when I use a different program while flying, but once I All-Tab back into it, it's smooth again. I also have my frames capped at 70 in NCP. Make sure the refresh rate is correct. I find that when changing resoltions in the Windows settings, it sets the monitor to 60Hz, which is wrong for me.

Do you have GSync enabled for full screen and windowed programs? Do you have anything showing on top of MSFS? Do you have a multiple monitor setup and have a window near the edge of the MSFS monitor? These are all gotchas that I have come across.

We discovered this on page 15 on that thread I think! 😂 On page 7 we discovered that both DLSS versions are needed when using FG and changing presets and DLSS quality settings in inspector.

Thanks again for discovering this! Now stop driving and posting. Instead do like I do and post on short final into Tivat rwy 14!

Also, for both G-Sync and FG to work, MSFS has to be in focus.

Pretty simple setup here  27" 2k GSync HDR at 165Hz TIR(TrackIR) is shining here local when I'm above 60fps never been so smooth (to add it never dips below 70).... Problem is when I'm going at 1.78x for example the windows resolution is difficult to read on a 2k screen...
GSync enabled for full and windowed screen programs.

To add thanks for the feedback really appreciated 🙂

Waiting for FS2024 which GPU route I'm going...

Increasing the scaling (forget what it’s called) in Win display settings might work for some apps, but not all.

Windows 11 display and scaling I believe, great tip going to test that one.

Yes, I set my text scaling at 150% when using 1.78x. Have a look at the other things I mentioned as gotchas for it not being smooth with DLDSR.

Tested but it gives here local more problems even with my minFCU and VDGS.
It's far less quality at my 2K so back at DLAA which I prefer anyway now to find the best modes...

Appreciated the feedback gentlemen 👌
