DLSS 3.7

Featured Replies

I am not sure if I will try FG and DLSS 3.7 again.. I am in doubts. Did try 3.5, 3.6, I always reverted back to DX11, TAA, no HAGS, 4K native resolution, Adaptive Half Refresh Rate (and NVCP limited at 61 fps for those 30fps in the Adapted 1/2 refresh rate) to get the best VRAM usage and smoothness. DX12 still introduces some ground artifacts from time to time. FG introduces also artifacts. Upscaling (and then DLSS Quality) makes for a 4K monitor no sense in my opinion, is too hard on the GPU.

Does this new version do anything to improve blurry glass cockpit displays when using DLSS DLAA?

For some strange reason, I don't get that. Based on recent discussions here on Avsim, it could be due to resolution - I'm running at 4K.

EDIT: Sorry, I see in your signature that you're on 4K too. Wow - 3x50" TVs!

And now a 3rd version by IslandSim. This one even simpler and only for 4000 series cards to run 3.7 DLSS in preset E.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

It think preset F might still be the best one. Got a video coming up with instructions on how to update DLSS versions + SU15 beta (today's build) performance test with and without latest DLSS + with and without AI traffic at iniBuild's EGLL.

I'll probably make another one showing Nvidia Profile Inspector soon (need to catch up on some sleep first though).

After being busy with work for a few days the simply replacing the 2 files now seems not enough as there are Presets ?

If I only replace those 2 files it will work right ?

I do not want to return to Tweak simulator like with P3D ….

All good mate - Yeah I (like a lot of people I think) get blurry glass cockpit displays when using DLSS DLAA - On the speedtape, altitude etc. Doesn't happen with TAA but DLSS DLAA gives a better image externally...

Sorry about the dizzying camera movements - I was trying to demonstrate how fluid motion can be with consistent frame times.

My settings:

Video was made using preset F.

Same here. I replaced the 3.7 files and i have the same question. Do we need to tweak and enable those presets ( E or F ) to see the full potentials of new DLSS?

Is this working when we use TAA?

thanks

Here's a video that might contain some interesting topics:
-How to use CapFrameX to check performance
-How to update DLSS
-How to select DLSS settings in Nvidia Profile Inspector
-How to choose between DLSS presets
-How to get DLSS ultra quality
-How hilarious Avsim can be

There's also a few performance tests at Heathrow, comparing DLSS versions and AI traffic on/off.

You sir are fantastic! Thank you for this video. I did everything as you showed us. I will now go fire-up MSFS.

On Nvidia Inspector, are those the only settings you need to change?
Well, I tried everything exactly as in the video. But, at JFK with FenixA320, and  50% traffic I am getting a sorry FPS of 18 😞
And, of course lots of stuttering. I have an Intel 13900K and Nvidia 4080
