This is new, isn't it? RNAV Y 31L approach into KPSP Palm Springs. For some reason it seems the LS mode on the PFD is necessary.

Having a few bugs, unfortunately:

  • Some knobs/dials are not moving like before i.e. jerky (e.g. overhead panel light)
  • Cabin visibility off does not work in EFB

I'm also getting an engine ignition message on the right side of the ECAM, which is also new. Cabin ready announcement before landing is also new, I think. Of course, as always, I could be wrong on a number of things, so feel free to prove me wrong, Avsim 😅

Looking forward to the ground friction / landing flare / ground effect modelling once SU15 goes live.

You have an FLS approach option available for the RNAV (this should be shown on the Appr-page in the FMS, and can be toggled off in favor of "FINAL APP")

FLS = your FMS is able to create imaginary glideslope and localizer beams (watch your FMA...) since it mimics a conventional ILS you will have to activate the deviation scales, much like IAN approach in the 737.

The ignition part is correct now. Jerky buttons fix posted in discord for time being worked for me. https://discord.com/channels/736572376967282769/1229445435761098834/1229580178192334948

The refresh rates I'm getting on all screens is atrocious even when I'm in cruise and the fps is high. If I turn nobs, I sometimes have to wait 3 seconds for the numbers to change. Basically anything that uses prosim chugs.

I'm not sure what it has to do with ProSim - regardless, try changing the display render modes you're using.

Thanks for the explanation! First time I've seen anything like this.

How do I activate the deviation scales?

You already have.

It's the LS push button.
