Been using Floyds clouds since the beginning, no idea I missed an update though.

Snap!

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

I'm starting to prefer these presets to live weather.  Never can get a favorable wind with live weather anyway. 🙂

So the clouds never change throughout your flight from departure to destination ?

SoFlys stuff is interesting, but feels, at least to me, to be less "cinematic" or maybe you could say "Dramatic".

They are perfectly utilitarian, and as far as I know, they might even be technically more accurate, but they don't really make me go "wow" in the same way floyds do.

I would say you would choose one or the other based mostly on individual taste, but in my gut, I really tend towards Floyds. It just feels more like a long term labor of love, to me.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Those 'Cumulonimbus Calvus' clouds in the REX Sky Force 3D were pretty awesome!

Now that Active Sky is getting a lot of attention, I wonder how it’s custom weather will compare to Floyd’s.
