He's referring to the fact that when you start MSFS recently, it always starts in windowed mode.  You have manually ALT-ENTER it to go full-screen.  I'm not sure if this bug started with SU14 or if it was in some micro-update along the way.

I thought this was going to be fixed with SU15 though.

Yes. It IS fixed in SU15.  There is no singular fix I know of hence the ???

I was not too bothered with this actually. After starting the sim I always have to Alt-Enter anyway to be able to start AIG traffic injection. Now, if it is fixed, I have to do it twice instead of once!🤣

Maybe he went beta and didn't know it.

Not on beta but sometimes it is fixed.  Sounds like code I worked on.  🙃

I'm not on the beta and nothing has changed for me. Still have to hit Alt-Enter every time right now.

I'm in beta and it has changed sometime during last weekend.

As a rule of thumb I can only urge beta participants to refrain from starting threads like these. If some bug suddenly has been fixed and you are in beta, it is very likely that this is the reason, and that anyone else still suffers from it.
