It has never worked when flying tubeliners because of the altitude and speeds on approach. People who use 4090 GPUs have been seeing melted landscapes for the longest time also when using tubeliners. In my experience, when using a GA aircraft and flying at around 1000ft at 120kts then photogrammetry works really well. I know it's a high density area, but my FPS are good so it's not even as though my machine is struggling, it just doesn't load it in. By the time I get down to about 1,000ft everything has loaded. But this looks truly appalling...much worse than it ever did in P3D even! Can anyone help? Try using the MSFS Map Enhancment Mod, the latest version now has a much improved cache (turn off the MSFS one), which also allows you to "Clear all data" and "Clear photogrammetry" I have always used photogrammetry, yes, I get the odd scenery popping up, but overall it's fine, and this on a 3060. From the blurb:- The cache is used to speed up satellite image loading when MSFS2020's Rolling Cache is disabled. MSFS2020's Rolling Cache may cause issues when switching maps and cause artifacts. May 27, 20242 yr London is just...weird. Sometimes PG works really well, sometimes it's just awful. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for why one flight can be fine whilst the next can be over a post apocalypse landscape. I think it's a combination of London not being done very well in the first place; which Jorge has acknowledged and some sort of variable server side latency. One other bizarre personal observation; I like using the approaches into both Heathrow and London City Airport to test autopilot function. Approaches from the east into the city always give better PG results than approaches into west London and Heathrow. Why......?
