Lightening

Featured Replies

Saw a bunch of lightening over KTEX using default weather.  Unfortunately, the cumulus were not that developed but the strikes looked pretty good.

Again this was all localized over KTEX so not the entire sky was affected.

OK SP.  What is it you are saying about the lightning?  Is it just a statement or is there a question in there?

I saw also lightening several times in between. This was near Mumbai. Significant weather, cumulus clouds and strikes as well.

Just to share, because for over months I didn't see any lightening at all in the sim. That changed now in my case.

Thanks at the opener for sharing your experience here.

Same here - yesterday in the vicinity of Punta Gorda/Florida (KPGD). Was really surprised at first until I realized its lightning & thunder.  Cumulus was not present... Still - nice to see! Haven't seen that in a very long time.

I am using ACTIVE Sky and see lightning all the time now.

Yikes....that's a bad application then or? Only lighting.....I'm glad it's just in the sim and not in real life. (😂)

Are you talking about lightning (the weather phenomenon) or lightening (as in using post-processing to lighten the graphics)?

I'm using default weather and yesterday flying around Florida's key west, saw quite a bit of lighting.
