By the end of their careers they were mainly towing targets for navy training I think. I saw them a lot at Shearwater and I think they were transferred to Greenwood for their last few years of service. July 24, 20241 yr There will be the possibility of some great repaints with this bird. Plenty of operators around the world, especially Europe and South America. Also, I know the wing-tip tanks are kind of iconic, but I have seen the odd picture of P/F-80's and T-33's without them, so it would be great if they were removable, but I wouldn't expect it. The only way to remove it was to remove the F-86. It happens with the SF260 as well I've read. I won't put the F-86 back on until that's been fixed. The T6 is amazing though.
