August 1, 20241 yr Open XR Toolkit still works great right now in VR for MSFS. People are saying that they think the developer will make changes if MSFS requires it, like when Windows 11 updates later this year. Even though he is not supporting it any longer. Its options help VR perform better and provides an fps readout in VR. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Anyway I thought it wouldn't hurt to try after reading your response. Opened the OpenXR Toolkit App and disabled it rather than delete it, started up the flight sim and woopee, it loaded up beautifully. Thanks for your help. You're welcome. I only made the decision to uninstall OpenXR as it's no longer being developed or supported anyway. I'm happy to report that MSFS appears to be running just fine without it. 😎
