He’s a very talented runner but wants to be a cool dude too.

Lesson learned hopefully….

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Why bother?  Reminds me of a football playoff game many years ago.  SF 49ers vs Minnesota Vikings,  A pass to Jerry Rice that
was being run for a sure touchdown.  He spiked the ball about 3 or 4 yards from the end zone.  It was called a fumble that was
recovered by the other team!  Just over confidence!

He thought he had it won, no use going full speed. His estimation was just a mistake in judgement. In these dashes the front runner sometimes slows up at the end. To save energy for the next race. It happens all the time, is normal.

Not sure about that, he didn't seem to slow because he thought he'd won, deceleration was too severe for that. And he could see other athletes about to overtake. There's speculation it was deliberate.

He looked to his left. That's not where the danger was.

Suppose so, very weird though. Asking for trouble to decelerate that much.
