Top Mach Studios B-2?

Recommended Posts

Anyone purchased the B-2 (from the marketplace)?

It looks really good honestly and I'm really curious about.  It seems to use the G5000 in the background somehow but the avionics look fairly authentic.  And the modeling and textures look superb.

Flying it right now.  It’s got a full GPS with Simbrief integration.  Is that the G5000 in the EFB because that’s what I’m using right now.  Here is a recently released video that helps you find your way with this machine.

once it goes on sale at justflight or other non-ms market i'll get this.  encrypted ms market planes don't allow any mods so need to wait.

I wasn't going to grab this, however the aircraft has always intrigued me.

I'm glad I got it.  The texture work is really nice, external, cockpit and soundset all really immersive.

Feels like a heavy, long range bomber.  Subsonic, long range bomber well represented in the sim.  It's a must buy in my opinion.

@everyone
v1.0.5

A new update for the B-2 has just been submitted to Microsoft.  It resolves a number of issues users have been reporting, including performance issues and various gauge crashes.  This is a big step toward an Xbox release, but we still have some additions and changes we need to make before then.  Please see below for the new changes:

-Added Persistent Option to set refresh rate of gauges
-Fixed WASM crash caused by entering a G3000 Approach
-Disabled Water Rudder Control of FBW (Airshow compatibility)
-Pilots always visible in external view
-Autostart turns on APUs: Battery power still required for button to function
-HSI Course Indicator Now Left-Padded With Zeros
-Enabled DC Battery Switch
-Util Bat Switch Triggers BATT OFF CAS Alert
-Elevator Trim Zeroes On Landing - to allow for nose to drop at proper speed
-Gauges and Avionics Power Switched to AC Bus – No longer comes on without External Power or APUs running
-Bleed Air and Engine Autostart Changes
-Fixed significant bug in wasm gauges (buffer overflow)
-Able to Change/Set/Clear Origin/Destination from CDU
-Fixed bug causing Nav Hold disconnects and wrong autopilot altitude behavior
-Fixed Equip Pack Tooltips
-Up to a 25% FPS Improvement: MFD Pages update less frequently to save on fps
-Fixed Bug Causing HSI Screen Jumping
-Fixed missing engine definitions in .flt files
-Added VOR Info to HSD
-Added TACAN Info to HSD

P.s.: TMS have released a free payware-grade version of Whiteman AFB (home base of the B-2s). Available on their site

Yes, and what was released today is just an upgrade.  I already have it installed and it is a very cool piece of work.  It has automatic Hanger Doors that open when you start up the B2 inside the hanger which is a place able parking spot.

Version 1.05, which had autopilot and G3000 issues addressed and fixed, is a complete joy to fly. Much system depth, in many cases as much as is publicly available, it is Top Secret after all.  But in the end Top Mach pulls it off with convincing authenticity.  And the NAV/AP/AT?  Every bit as good as the commercial Tubeliners out there.  Simbrief import and a robust set of tools as well as FBW round out the offerings of this latest patch.

So fly it if you have it, buy it if you want it.  Either way it does not disappoint.  For me?  I’m flying it as I type this. KEDWKSZL.  Shhhh…Top Secret. 😎
