September 16, 20241 yr Does anyone know of any reasonably good helicopters that I can buy that use the TDS GTN 750? The ones I have all use the default GPS and it’s horrible. If it can’t use the TDS then it’s a no go. Many thanks. Jack Jack Sawyer
September 16, 20241 yr The Hype Performance Group (HPG) H160 can have it as an option. Also, most (maybe now all) of the CowanSim helos can too.

The HPGs are pretty forgiving if you’ve not flown copters much. They are made by Airbus after all. Highly automated. I have the 160, payware. Their 135 is freeware and very similar tho I don’t know of FW version supports TDS. -B

I think the Cowansim birds are pretty good. They have multiple panel options which is super nice! They are a bit touchy - I think more suited to proper helicopter peripherals with more range of travel than what I have. They're not as in depth as the HPG H160 though (which is awesome by the way!) I guess if you're looking for a stable and somewhat fast heli look no further than the H160. But I like the new H130 from cowansim as well as their R66 - both use the TDS GTN. You can look at the TDS site https://www.tdssim.com/gtnxivcintegration - they have a few small screenshots showing integration - I think many of the payware helis have TDS support. There's also a 650xi mod I made for the default Cabri G2. And there's a decent freeware Bell 429 that uses the GTN 750 as well. I decided to post a few pics of what the GTN looks like in my top 3 flown helis (H130, H160, R66) - youll want to click on them to get a larger image I decided to post one more pic - the H160 has a powerful autopilot too - you can set it up all with buttons on your controllers or you can use this handy tablet interface to control everything. The H160 is a superb addon. It's worth the price for sure! September 16, 20241 yr Author Thanks Ryan! I like the HPG 160. Think I’ll go with that one. Jack Sawyer

Yeah, there isn't such a thing as an A2A calibre helo yet, so if you absolutely require that level of fidelity, you are stuck in the fixed-wing world for now and for the forseeable future. The H160 is nice and advanced, but it's not going to have all of the wear, tear, and care features of the A2A products, nor will any other helos. If you absolutely positively need this level of feature set, I'd argue that helos aren't for you.

You seem to be copping a bit of an attitude, but users here are responding to your prior statement of "Thanks but if it’s not as advanced as A2A or PMDG then I’ll have to pass. " If that's not in fact the case, then I'd highly recommend the H160 from HPG, as I originally advised. It's a great product, but again, not at A2A caliber.
September 17, 20241 yr Also, I think you already bought, but I have several so, The H160 is great, but it is very automated. If you want to hand fly, I will suggest the Flyinside 206B. It is as good as it gets for now with MSFS. Only thing is I do not believe it has GTNiX. Not really a big deal on a helo, at least not for me. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name.
