If you want to hand fly, I will suggest the Flyinside 206B.

Thanks, I have the FlyInside helos and they're fine for hand flying which I like to do a lot.  I wanted to be able to navigate with the GTN, hence my post.  I'm not a big fan of the default GPS's, I was trained on the GTN.

I own both the bell47 and the "Jetranger", but they're almost  impossible to autorotate using rw procedures🤔

Then purchased Cowan and they're no better...

Thankfully my total disappoitment with MSFS2020 helis made me reinstall DCS World and, man... the UH-1H and now the Chinook 47F are simply astounding...

I am looking fwd for Heli flight dynamics in 2024...

Cowan has GTN, but be ready to take a step back from the Flyinside. Cowan are good, just not on par with Flyinside. (My opinion and shard by others)

H160 is of course on another level of Helo.

Agreed, but being a desktop flight simulator I have to live within its limitation.

As far as hand flying, have you tried Taog's huey?

Never even heard of it.  But I'm more interested in non-military helicopters.  Much appreciated though.

HPG also has the H145 which has the GTN 750 option. That's what I use.

Case: (Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic XL), PSU: (MEG Ai300p pcie 5 & ATX 3.0), Motherboard: (ASUS TUF Gaming x670E-PLUS WIFI 6E), CPU: (AMD Ryzen 7 7800-X3D)

Memory: (G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB Series 64GB DDR5 6000), GPU: (Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 AMP Extreme Airo). CPU Cooler: (ASUS ROG Strix LC RGB 360)

Fans: (7 Corsair LL Series 120mm RGB)

I go straight to DCS and X-plane to fly helicopters.

They have civilian version of Huey as well. I like them better than Cowan. I'm in particular like Huey

Here is all  Taogs helicopters

https://flightsim.to/developer/TaogsHangar

Taogs Huey reminds me DCS one. Latest patch add "vibrations" that so much missing from other helicopters in MSFS. Taogs Huey and CAS J3C-65 (fixed wing) are obsoletely my favorite "low and slow" stick/cyclic and rudder kind of plane!

Taog also has an Alouette III which I enjoy, although I haven't flown it in a while.  It comes with several civilian paintjobs.  But I don't recall it having an option for a GTN750.

Dude, the OH-58D is fantastic, and the revamped Gazelle is rapidly climbing my "Like" scale!

Still love the Huey, of course, and well, all the rest of them 😁

Thanks, never heard of the HPG, I’ll have to google it.  As for Cowan, well, I read some pretty crummy reviews.

The HPG 160 is incredibly automated. And that may be good considering the limitations of the sim at present.

I have their 145 and I must be doing something wrong with it because I just don't like to fly it

OTOH, the Fly Inside 206 is my primary choice for MSFS - seems to fly closest to other Hi Fi Helo add-ons in other sims.

I have a couple CowanSims for MSFS and XP. They're nice in XP, I uninstalled them in MSFS

Many thanks guys.  I bought the HPG 160 today and am very pleased with it.  I love the avionics and man would I like to fly one in real life.
