Don't buy it then, your choice.

Treating me like the consumer I am right. No say in the matter. Just buy or not.

That's literally how you control things as a consumer. Pay if you feel the product is worth it, don't pay if you don't. So yes, you do have a say in the matter.

If enough people feel the same as you, the product will fail.

Good grief 😄

I'm not a consumer. I have a vested interest in improving the sim and calling out lies when I see it. Something more journalists and interviewers should be doing *ahem*

What happened to Jorg's quote: "You are directly helping steer the ship"

You have EXACTLY...no say in the matter.  Good job, you got it!

They decided to play this card and now are upset when people like me call their bluff.

You keep yammering on about "lies" and "bluffs" and yet there is no proof of it sorry. In that interview he is talking about the tornado shown in trailer #1 not being a canned animiation (just like the wildfire smoke not being a canned animation but actually dissipates like clouds)... Do you have some deep insight into their development or proof that says otherwise? (hint: tornadoes not making into live weather ain't it).

They used dynamic simulated tornadoes as one of the reasons a new paid title was required due to advances in weather simulation

Another laughable comment.. so tornadoes not making it into live weather in the initial release of 2024 therefore makes the reason for releasing all the rest of the advancements as a new paid sim less worthy? Umm ok, if this is that much of a deal-breaker for you then as others say above, tough luck, deal with it. Oh and newsflash, a year before release a software developer could list feature A, B, C, etc as being planned for the new release N. If closer to release they say that one or more of those features won't actually end up making it into N for whatever reasons, and only come in a future release (N+1 or after) then the buyer can make that decision to buy or not. What *would* be an actual lie is if they say now that tornadoes are coming in live weather and then we buy the sim and find out that's not the case. They are being transparent about what is actually in or out in the initial release of MSFS 2024, so we get to decide if we or buy or not due to our personal deal-breakers 🤷‍♂️
