AIG models - Nav lights broken

I use AIGTC...

ok, as said the model update fixes some light issues. I will run a few more tests with different settings to see if we have missed some issues

Ok, small correction: if I go very very close to the AI model, e.g. the A330 I just observed in FRA, I can see the green and red NAV lights. But already at a slightly higher distance (e.g. when the plane fills about half of the screen), they disappear and only get visible again when airborne (but then also from a big distance, e.g. the tower). Strange.

Do you guys really get NAV lights working on AIG planes while they are on ground using the tool? I used it several times now, all I see is NAV lights suddenly appear the moment the plane takes off...

Just saw this once on the ground and on next msfs session it stopped working (on the ground), but I was not getting them in the air either. So fortunately, with this app I can see them on the air with all their lights from a distance.

Having an issue with the AIG models, so I stopped using them altogether. The planes are not rounded on the top, until you get close. They almost look like triangles. Don't have this issue with FSLTL models.

Sounds like a LOD issue, my AIG models look pretty darn good for AI and while some of the engines may not be perfectly round overall they look and perform great.  Weren't the original FSLTL the ones that were literally triangular noses?
That also sounds more like a personal preference than an "issue"

Just left KEWR and seeing the skies alive and lit up was great!  Didn't realize how much I missed it!!

Thank you again for the fix!

Have a Wonderful Day

thats a known issue with the new LOD update we pushed in July, we have updated all models to make full use of the SDK LOD options. Sadly some users with "lower" Object LOD settings are now having issues, we are working on a new update to improve the quality of the models for those users again.

Thanks Kai. What OLOD would be considered low?

Hi @Kaiii3, I've worked on the lights issues with Nico, the developper of PSXT, and the results may give you some pointers.

Hope it helps,

Amine.

basically everything below 100, but we are investigating this at the moment.

I aware of the results. With what SDK command did you injected the airplanes? ATCAircraft or as NonATCAircraft?

Okay thanks. I had my setting at 200 and it still did it.
