Why... ?   ... this is continuing on the OP's subject about LIMJ Genoa and its features....  a mention of Xplane doesn't take away from that...

He did ask for feedback...  in case you hadn't noticed the aircraft is flying into Genoa.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback on this scenery. I love it! If I had to be critical, I'd say that the textures are a little 'simplistic' in areas but this is far outweighed by, what I believe is additional work on some of the surrounding scenery. Probably one of the most visually stunning approaches onto RWY28.  BTW, as cheap as chips from both Orbx and IniBuilds.

Well, well, Howard asked for feedback from eventual owners of the BMW version of LIMJ for MSFS. Posting a 5-year old XP video doesn't really fit the bill ...

I have been close to pulling the trigger on this one over the past few days. Maybe my finger will twitch when I get home tonight

Like you Christopher, I'm a bit of a stickler for things. IMO, the scenery isn't up to the standard of the likes of Pyreegue or FT, but nevertheless it has stacks of atmosphere. For the price of a couple of pints I would definitely recommend it.

To be fair, very few are right up to the standard of FlyTampa or Pyreegue. However, as long as it is good enough, that's all that matters. The location looks really nice, and both approaches would be cool to fly.

I love it. While it’s a bit dated of course, nothing beats the approach over the nicely modeled busy harbor. Makes for a great finish to the journey you so well described.

All good....but my LOC on 28 is off. Not sure what's with that....I love it otherwise...

Unfortunately, this specific developer is... a bit finicky with updates. It'll come, but there's a bit of a cautionary tale about him.

He started with a "membership" approach in which people were asked to pay a certain amount upfront with the promise of getting all of his airports present and future, with no limitations. At some point, he stopped updating them for a long period of time, ignoring complaints and releasing and updating airports on other marketplaces without giving them to his members.

While that changed after several months and updates finally arrived for members as well, he then started this partnership with Amsim crafting himself an excuse to never give any new airports anymore to those who subscribed to the initial deal, which is honestly not a great look.

Now, to be fair, the deal of the membership was still pretty sweet, albeit his quality has been hit and miss, but the fact that he basically ghosted his members for several months and dodged the membership deal altogether with an excuse after a while isn't the best look and certainly has left some with a bitter taste.

On the other hand, the update to Genoa finally makes it quite good for my taste.

That membership I have too. I wrote him an e-mail so let’s see what hij respond will be…

The forum no longer exists and the latest Free updates are from 2022 as far as I can see.
