Hi,

Some areas have an amount of vegetation that does not correspond to reality at all.

Take, for example, Valencia (Spain). Yesterday, I flew from LEVC to the south, to a small airfield in Benicolet. I know very well that area (my wife is from that village and like to fly to that place with MS2020).

Now, the landscape looks more like the Amazon rainforest than the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula. So much so that I could not clearly distinguish where the villages and the airfield were.

This area is much better represented in MS2020.

Why this regression?

Yes, I was observing the same and to write it, the same in Tenerife middle-coast east-south Canary Islands and La Palma, haha, probably all the Islands, it is less real and really worse than before even not having those warnings about FS24 setting low resolution in the Sim for their servers problems, all full of trees... haha, more normal in higher altitudes till some cotes, then yes there are zones there full of trees in real live. Better and more realistic represented that before in FS20.

Like they have tools and satellite images to populate the real snow where they are, they should have a similar tools for trees an vegetation.

Not really a concern for me, they will solve that like in FS20 in the future sure when they know it.

My really concerns are about they solving my Xbox gamepad with RT/LT trigger only having half movement, like doesn’t happen in other simulator, to be able begin to fly normally in FS24, that they didn´t in 4 years in FS20, and I could workaround, and in FS24 I can´t....

I noticed the same in Italy, especially in areas where there shoudn't be that many trees but more bushes.. The trees at least are on  the main common type, but definitely too many! I guess they'll work on it in the future

I would not say that vegetation density and location is or ever was solved in msfs2020

Maybe yes..., I mean that I guess and I have the hopes they leave it the same like FS20 at least, and not worse..., I hope haha.

And even worse FS24 than FS20 in trees because in those islands there are no "seasonal" trees like now represented, they are always green.... Yes maybe difficult that Asobo solves that haha at any time before the next MSFS version and some day.

Never mind the vegetation. I was messing around with the graphic settings and about 20 hippos spawned next to runway 01 at FACT. At least they had the sense to stay off the runway.

It seems the algorithm needs some refinement. Hippos with not river nearby? Unrealistic.
