I don't think we can load the sim without being outside the aircraft.  But all you need to do is press Shift C to get in

Thanks but don't you still need to run around the plane and remove covers and chocks?

Wow...this all seems like so much fun!  Joking!  Looks like a steep learning curve and sound like one needs to use the training modules whatever they are.

Wait until you have to pumpout 26 bilge chambers of a float plane..then taking that pitot cover off prior to flight isnt that bad.

I have been using Free Flight from a gate and have always started from inside the cabin.

However most of the time as been spent sorting out button binding
