Even the desert areas I have in virgin island or Caribbean don't look like Arizona like you claim: ____________________________________ Virgin island desert part (actual photo): Edited December 11, 20241 yr by BijanStudio Gaming Laptop:MSI GS75 Stealth 5.6GHz Intel Core i9 - 10th gen 16 core CPU - 32 GB DDR4 SDRAM - 1TB SSD - RTX 2080 Super - 1920x1080 - 3 fans and cooling pipes.

December 11, 20241 yr Here are the native species to the Virgin Islands. https://www.nps.gov/viis/learn/nature/vi-native-plants.htm There will be small prickly pear cactuses in a few arid areas but not large barrel cactuses everywhere. And cactuses are not a major biome for those islands so in the sim it all looks wrong. Take a look at Google Maps Satellite images and you won’t see them. The islands around South America are arid and thus have more shrubs and cactuses. I have driven the entire island of Tortola on vacation and not once did I see large barrel cactuses. I don’t know where you’re getting your images but they are misleading you. I just checked St. Marteen with your add-on and again you see barrel cactuses, but I’ve never seen one in real life there after three visits. Barrel Cactuses are found in the Southwestern US and in Mexico. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrel_cactus I am not trying to criticize your hard work. I was merely asking you to take another look at the islands. I know only so much can be done in the sim and trade-offs must be made. So what I look at is does the scenery have the right vibe and is it convincing. This doesn’t do that for many of the Caribbean islands.

From South looking North (YCFS): Strangely, there are fewer trees with colours than before the MSFS2024 update. There are a few on the hill south of the airport though. Then I restarted the sim. For some reason now there are even more coloured trees. Not sure what is going on here... Edited December 11, 20241 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
December 11, 20241 yr Author @Cpt_Piett, @BijanStudio, Don't know if this helps or just confuses, but this is how it looks for me. Updated MSFS2024 and Bijans 1.3. 4k and Ultra. December 16, 20241 yr Dear Bijan, just bought the 2024 and checked my home base Curacao in the Caribbean (TNCC). There are a lot of trees next to the airport, especially between the runway and the sea which are not existing in reality. Would be great if you would be able to remove them in your next update! Thanks a lot and best wishes from Curacao!
