January 3, 20251 yr Author Excellent stuff, Bijan, and much appreciated. Haven't checked out all those areas but I will do! Certainly have enjoyed Vancouver - I've been using that as my reference to see the effects of PG on/off, with/without your mods etc. And for me, PG on - because I think the PG buildings are actually way better than trhe Samscene addon, but only feasible with your package also on. PG buildings - great. PG vegetation - awful. End result is quite spectacular. Looking forward to you fixing the whole planet <grin>! January 4, 20251 yr Hello! As always, THANK YOU so much for keeping up the GREAT work! Could you please look at Split, Croatia? The cliffs got HUGE bushes and trees whereas they shouldn't have any. Also the famous Klis Fortress is completely covered in trees and can be easily missed. Took me 5 attempts to locate it underneath the dense forest trees.
January 4, 20251 yr As a personal request, if you are ever around Denmark, I would love if you could stop by EKGH Gronholt, which is a local small field to me. The Copenhagen PG square goes right through the middle of it almost, which means one side has PG trees and the other 3D trees. Would it be possible to just mask off the PG trees in the vicinity? I have a similar experience: I was flying in an area which I know a lot, both IRL and in FS2020. But on the first pass I almost couldn't find my hometown! All of it was covered with trees: Villages, fields... Some people complain about it , some don't, so probably not all areas are influenced (and as established in another thread: Also type of flying one does matters a lot - GA vs. airliners). Big thank you and hats off to Bijan for working so hard on the issue! January 4, 20251 yr Thanks much for the updates! Here's an odd one for you. Is there any way, besides turning off photogrammerty(sp) to not have the lumpy tree/buildings in an area? In particular, I'm at KOSH Oshkosh, WI , home of EAA. i7-13700KF @ 5.3GHz 32.0GB DDR5 @ 5600 RTX 3080 65" LG OLED @ 4k

January 5, 20251 yr I am doubly happy to have purchased this addon. First, I appreciate the quality of Bijan's work since the beginning of MSFS 2020, his seriousness and his listening to users. And then because as an Israeli I am happy to have a relationship, even commercial, with an Iranian friend. So thank you Bijan for bringing me this double satisfaction today. 🍻 - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
January 5, 20251 yr Maybe some change in how they interpret the data (ditching blackshark?) but I notice a LOT more colored geometric blobs everywhere that are supposed to be trees in MSFS 2024 than in the previous version. (I used to think of this as a primarily California problem) Also, houses seem (to me) to be not quite as precisely placed on the underlying orthos as before. I wince when overflying Central Park in particular, and New York in general, at how.... enthusiastically.... the trees merge/fuse with the buildings in photogrammetry mode. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. January 5, 20251 yr I’m still having issues extracting the latest version sadly. Windows thinks it’s a virus and I can’t convince winrar to extract it either. All previous ones were fine. Is there any chance it could come as a normal zip file instead of exe? Thanks
January 5, 20251 yr Your complement is a leap in quality in 2024 the truth is that photogrammetry is much worse than 2020 where I fly. If you have time to see if you can do something with the giant trees and shrubs of Alicante in Spain, I imagine that with the abrupt changes in hue of orthos little can be done but just in LEAL and alicante area looks all very brown. Surroundings with lighter tones is much more realistic.

Thanks Let's resolve this issue now to avoid weekly file reminders. As a troubleshooting step, try temporarily disabling your anti-virus, extracting the file, and then re-enabling the anti-virus.
