Bijan: I've put the folders in the Community Folder as required, but I have no way to determine if it's working or not.  In your previous version I had a screen where I could select what I wanted. Nothing like that here that I can find.  How can I tell if it's working?

Try Los Angeles (Santa Monica, Venice beach) you should see palm trees along the beach.  Or Iceland. You shouldn't see any trees outside cities.

I don't see the palm trees at Santa Monica and I see trees outside Keflavik, Iceland.  What am I doing wrong?

I see you said something about putting "folders", plural in your community folder. That's not plural. It's one folder called "bijanstudio-bijan-seasons-enhanced-v1-2". That one has to be in your community folder. Wherever that is.

Vancouver - As part of our ongoing effort to improve scenery, I’m removing photogrammetry trees. This process also requires the removal of all houses and some smaller buildings, as they are often merged with trees. Smaller houses and buildings will be replaced with auto-generated alternatives. Many of the original houses were poorly rendered anyway, with a “melted” appearance. To preserve the visual integrity of urban areas, I’ve avoided removing trees that are merged with high-rise buildings, as this would compromise their appearance. In some areas, I’ve taken a targeted approach, only removing photogrammetry trees that were of particularly poor quality compared to other areas. Feedbacks welcome.

Is in anyway you can automate such process so you can process all the PG areas in FS2024?

I'd imagine manually doing this for the whole world of PG data probably is going to take your 500 years, but such processing is desperately needed in 2024 PG now. Would be so nice to have all these PG data cleaned up as you're doing.

I should have said folder but your post was helpful.  You said v1-2.  I have v1-1.  Thanks.  I'll try that.

Unfortunately I didn't know any other way of removing them.

Yes it's desperately needed as PG is a lot worse in 2024 than 2020. Beside cities, now we have hills and mountains with spikes all over and they keep expanding this without having any fix.

Glad it worked. Either 1.1 or 1.2 or future updates. It's the same procedure. Just unzip and place in community folder and restart.

Not having MSFS 2024 get but in MSFS 2020 use seperate folders in the Community folder. Only the folders with the correct season + base folder + 20% mask folder are active. ( using Addons Linker )

is it different for MSFS 2024 ? If you put the complete folder in the Community folder every season would be active…

It uses the same seasons as MSFS 2024. No more switching folders. It's just one folder that stays in community folder.

Was there another update yesterday? In the SimMarket manager, I got a notification of v1.2 - although I think I've been using 1.2 for a little while now. In the manager, it says that the upload date was yesterday.

Yes, and the manager also told you what was updated. Not the scenery itself but an installation readme was added, for those that are new to this. 😉

Love this constant progression. Just one question? Why dont you use the simmarket installation routine? Is there any benefit from having the user move the folder manually? Except of course for those like me using AddonLinker 🤣
