Interesting that they have traced some of the issues with people launching the sim to 2020 content packages. So it is not the sim itself necessarily, which may explain why some of us are having few issues and others substantial ones.

Indeed. I was stuck at 97% too, until I figured out it was because of an issue with the FlyTampa Corfu scenery, which I purchased in MSFS2020 at some point.

They really should have delayed porting marketplace content into 2024 until the marketplace was fully functional. I'd rather wait a few weeks and choose what content to add to the sim vs getting all of it that was "verified" dumped in the sim with no option to disable. I'm sure we've all experienced an addon that works fine alone but has issues when another addon is loaded. This is probably contributing to CTD issues, since there is no way for Asobo to verify packages work with every other package in the marketplace.

Yeah but the curious thing for me is that I have an absolutely obscene amount of sceneries from the 2020 marketplace. Like four years worth, probably thousands of dollars (don't even want to think about how many). That's my primary way of buying sceneries.

Not sure how many actually got activated in 2024 but I've had no issues with the sim other than the basic server related ones on the first day.
So sceneries can't be causing these issues? Maybe it's those graphical replacement mods?

Odd. I have that one as well and I see no such issues.

You do know you can see of your 2020 addons in the marketplace, which ones are now in 2024 right? Go to marketplace, then my library and them streamed and you can click on scenery just to see the scenery and any addons that are now in 2024 will show up in that list.

They should hwve added the safe boot option for release day. Weird that they removed it since it's been there for 2020. But it's a good thing they are adding it back.

Sounds like some progress, especially mention being able to add and remove content week of 12/9. Sorry he didn’t mention the ability to actually download content though.
