December 2, 20241 yr Same for me. I haven't dug deep into the settings yet but yes, at default, VR is noticeably less vibrant, overly misty and less sharp than at the same altitudes and time of day than MSFS 2020. It looks like a different sim to the boot up 2D scenes. December 3, 20241 yr I feel like the sky is way over exposed in quest 3. I'm happy with the ground / building lighting For me, the brightness, gamma and oxrtk options don't seem to help with the blown out sky much and just end up darkening the rest of the scenery. I'd say it's lost too much of the blue sky colour info before the adjustment options apply It's the same on VD and Link cable Edited December 3, 20241 yr by dogmanbird

And yes - after trying loads of settings, the colours are brighter and seems much more lifelike to me in MSFS2020 in VR than MSFS2024. In 2D it's closer. December 14, 20241 yr Author I tried turning down the brightness and contrast for each eye by a factor of 1 in the PimaxPLay App... seemed to have had a good effect for me with the over bright skies etc.. -2 was a tad too dark... anyone else tried this? i9 13900KF @ 5.5Ghz | MoBo MSI PRO Z690-A WiFi | Corsair Vengeance Black RGB RS 64gb DDR4 3200MHz | MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Vanguard SOC 32GB | MP33 Pro 1TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD for OS | Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" 4TB SSD SATA2 | Samsung 990 PRO 2TB | Corsair RM1000X 2021 1300W 80 Plus Gold PSU | Antec Dark Fleet DF700 Flux Gaming Case | Win 11 home | Samsung 65" 4K TV | G512 Keyboard | Razer Basilisk V2 Mouse | WinCtrl URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal / 32 PAC Metal | WinCtrl Ursa Minor Sidestick |Velocity One Rudder | MiniCockpit FCU and EFIS | WinCtrl MCDU | Stream Deck XL | Tobii Eye Tracker | Pimax Crystal Light | Doug
December 28, 20241 yr I have washed colors with my HP Reverb G2. OXR Toolkit did excellent color correction job with MSFS2020. OpenXR Toolkit documentation says that MSFS2024 is not supported. What is similar color adjusting tool for MSFS2024?
