Now, I don't even get the annoying little icon in my system tray begging me to update. Thanks! January 23, 20251 yr Apparently a new dev build for windows fixes this issue so hopefully we can all soon update without worry to lose the Aerosoft busses! 🤩 (see below excerpt from Aerosoft forum) I basically joined the Windows Insider program so I could have access to the dev version. In this case I'm using build 27774, and apparently they fixed the XML error, but there is no forecast for it to become Stable. January 31, 20251 yr I would like to know ONE thing! Those of you with the Windows update 24H2...Question: Are you able to NOW download a TDS 737-800 from, say, Simviation, and have it appear fully intact? Does it have its full wings? If so, then the problem isn't with 24H2. It is with something else. I'm trying to pin this down. I recently tried to download a Max 10 737 from Simviation, and because it was a TDS plane, I didn't get a complete plane. Thanks.
January 31, 20251 yr @spilokYou need to download the updated models and option panel from Hiroshi on facebook, he's updated all of them, I'm updating my models as we speak.

I downloaded what I thought were the correct MDL files, but, I do not understand how to use them (formats differ, it seems) to add to the downloaded planes. I would appreciate a step by step from you (perhaps in an email) as to how to do this. I'm interested in the 737-800 and 900 models. Thanks

Thanks Sorry I'm not gonna do a step by step on email but within each model folder e.g model.BE--LP2W2, you'll have a model file TDSX739_CFM56-7BE--LP2W2 or something. In the downloaded folder, Hiroshi would have put all of the updated files into it and then its a case or matching up the old to the new. I've done it with every TDS aircraft. The only other thing you'll have to do is then updated the cfg model file to the new. Then you'll have to drop in the TDS_B3_OptionMenu folder into your panel folder. In that will be instructions to add to the panel cfg file. Update that then you won't have any issues viewing.

May 21, 20251 yr Anyone know if the FSLabs A320 works with P3D v5.4 and 24H2? While I'll miss the Aerosoft A330 while Windows gets patched with the fix in build 27774 from the canary channel, I'm not opposed to giving the FSLabs stuff a shot even at the higher price point.

Yes it works with H224.
May 24, 20251 yr I had similar problems with the latest Windows 11 update, but it affected my resource usage (VRAM). I use P3D v4.5 and haven't a CTD in about four years. However, after the latest Windows update, P3D stopped running normally. When I launch the simulator, it initially works as usual, but after 10 to 30 minutes, the VRAM usage increases from the normal 1.9GB to 9GB without any clear reason. This causes the PC to stop the program due to resource exhaustion. I believe the main issue is related to the .NET Framework or the C++ redistributable, but I can't be sure. Anyway, I managed to resolve the issue by uninstalling the latest updates (you can do this in the Update History section of Windows Update). Another possible solution is rolling back to the Windows 11 24H2 Repair Version, which can be found under Advanced Options > Recovery. It’s a large file, so the rollback process takes some time, but it fixes all the problems.
May 29, 20251 yr Probably found the component which cause issue with the last Windows Update. Open task manager while P3D is running and "reset scenario" from menu P3D a couple of time until you can see on your Task Manager the process XBox Game Bar (there are 2 process one with the X-Box logo and one without). Leave it run and see CPU and RAM usage increase. Terminate process and resource should reduce. If you see this happening here the solution: Go to Settings > System Components. Find Game Bar and click on it. Click the Advanced options link. Under "Background component permissions," select Never. Let me know if this can help or fix P3D also on your PC
