MSFS 2024 servers overwhelmed in the UK?

Featured Replies

MSFS 2024 barely loads to the main screen, and no flights can be started; has been like this for the last couple of days. I have seen reports of a similar issue by users in France and the Netherlands. Absolute shambles. Next thing Asobo or Microsoft will tell us is that they did not expect a high demand while most people are on holiday for Christmas.

Just flew EGSS-LEIB with the Fenix A320 and had no issues. What's your  Pc/broadband specs?

It could be an internet issue and not 2024 related.

Msfs 2024

I am in the UK and have no problem at all and I only have 24mps internet.

For the first time I’ve had trouble streaming today I must admit with low bandwidth warning although My internet speed has been fine.

Been flying on 2024 for hours this afternoon. Flawless.

I've been getting error accessing live traffic for the last couple of days. So I recon it is server side problems.

i am in uk and have flown with no problem for days, including today.

I have a 500 mbit connection with no issues with the connection.

I'm Thinking it would also depend on which server you have chosen to select for your flight.

Some times it goes some times do not go; bit of a mess these servers; it was all good before the update than they screw up again.

But there are quite a few hops from you to the MS servers. It could be an issue along the way.

For information: With my 24 mbps connection speed  I do not have a problem and have not had a problem streaming either before the update or since the update so I would suspect there is something else causing your problem.

I had random "bandwidth issues" (can't remember the exact error message in the sim) a week ago or so. So it might not be worth troubleshooting unless it persists.
