When is SU16 set to drop?

Featured Replies

IIRC this was delayed initially from a Summer release due to the impending MSFS24 release so pushed back to Feb? Is that right?

Kinda concerned that it'll be (...and to be fair should be...) all hands on deck to repair the mess that is MSFS24 so fully expecting SU16 to be delayed again, but either way was there an update to this release in the past few weeks/months? thanks

I would more like to hear what the smiling tripples have to say about cloud degradation rather than a new nonce untested update that brakes things

Have they stopped beta testing altogether?

I think what they actually pushed back for Jan/Feb 2025 is WU19 (South America: Brazil and Guyana), originally planned for early December 2024.

Yeah I knew about that one, SU16 was due for release in July (I've since seen), delayed because of MSFS24 but as yet no clear release date.

It would be nice if any forthcoming update for MSFS 2020 included a fix for the misaligned runway centreline markings at LDRI Rijeka International. I find it extremely difficult to ignore stuff like that.

Didn't know about SU16 (or forgot, it, anyway). Thanks for the reminder. So far, MS/Asobo are not up to their previous words regarding the work on MSFS2020, hopefully they will after MSFS2024 gets in better shape.

Cheers, Ed

That could be a long time.

Probably exactly the same time before I'll purchase MSFS2024 😉

I guess 2020 will take a back seat now when it comes to updates.

Did you think anything else? MSFS24 is the sim now and 2020 seems like it's just mainly going to be maintenance mode.
