January 10, 20251 yr I would like to try this mod. I have a version 7 and a version 8. Does v7 still work? It looks like v8 is freeware and payware. Thanks for your input. MSFS
January 10, 20251 yr I've been using this mod for almost a year now and it's very good and reliable. You can select the server map (Google, Bing new, etc.), but I've found that the new Bing maps produce the best results in the areas I usually fly (South America, South USA, Japan and Europe). You don't need the payware version for it to work better, the freeware version is just fine. Always use the latest version (the app will automatically update to the latest upon start-up, anyway). I use addon linker to start msfs. When do I start the map mod? Before Add-on Linker or after loading msfs? MSFS

January 10, 20251 yr I have tried installing this mod multiple times over the years. Sometimes it would work, then it would cause problems. I finally just gave up on it completely. Not worth the trouble it causes, in my opinion.

Currently using the Latest version. Perhaps you should give it another try 😉 The last time I t ried it about 2 months ago, it caused the FMC to freeze up in the PMDG aircraft, when I loaded fuel. Uninstalled the mod, no more problem, reinstalled mod, same issue.

January 22, 20251 yr I found that I don't need this mod in 2024 but I only fly in NA. Don't need any cloud loader either the defaults with some preset tweaking make me happy. dd
