Buttons and auto respond for me as well. Absolutely no interest in talking to my computer. Just interested in having semi-realistic communications and instructions.

interesting thread for sure...I stutter so it helps my stuttering knowing I'm just talking to a computer and not real world person...

I use buttons as I mainly play in the evening and don't want to subject my neighbour's children sleeping on the other side of the wall to a disembodied voice asking for take-off clearence.

Currently button only because I abandonded my headset with mic some time ago. Means: no mic, sound via simple speaker setup. But basically I got BATC to be used with a mic, did not yet found one that suits my "no headset" setup. Hints? Recommendations? I dont want a tabletop mic stand setup and it has to be chinch to route it directly into my soundcard.
