January 16, 20251 yr So, I think many of us have dealt with the issue of stuck downloads while attempting to acquire Aig models/updates. I've spent about a week attempting to download, and repeatedly became stuck. So, I decided to go directly to the apparent source of the files, as listed my the model names...... This took me to a site which refused to connect, and presented me with a message saying so. Why would it be refusing to connect? I thought about this a bit, and then decided to try a hunch. I activated my VPN, randomly selected Argentina, and tried to download the files again. Aig then quickly and seamlessly downloaded all the remaining files, beginning with ones that had been stuck for days. Worth a try! (?) We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... I don't know that I've ever found AIG Manager completely refuse to download a file but there have been a LOT of times when it takes a very very very very long time..like hours....to download event the smallest of liveries. Good tip though - Will remember that next time I'm waiting and waiting and waiting... 🙂 Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs

Well, the site AIG was apparently attempting to download from was https://fsai-repaints.com/ which still refuses connection to me unless I am on a VPN (just tried again) Edited January 16, 20251 yr by HiFlyer We are all connected..... January 16, 20251 yr Interesting find! I never had that specific problem though with OCI. The only problem I've had a few times is that one or two 'flightplans' didn't want to install: I didn't get a warning or anything, the (in this case) red update button kept on being visible. The solution for me was to 1. enable manual downloads in the AIG Manager options, 2. start the OCI install again and 3. only THEN the manager would tell me a certain zip couldn't be downloaded and offered me to download it manually. What then became clear was that the requested file couldn't be downloaded at all, so not even manually! So I had to search for the file using Google and only after finding the specific file I could continue the OCI process, point the manager to the downloaded file and after that all was fine. No more red or green update/download buttons anymore in the manager. (For a long, long time I thought it was normal for the AIG Manager to show red update and green install buttons... I somehow thought they belonged there because I never could get rid of them. But now I know that's not right: its great to not see those buttons anymore knowing you have 100% of AIG downloaded and in use! 🙂 ) A bit odd that the OCI process doesn't give a warning when a file can't be downloaded for whatever reason... but I am not complaining because AIG is absolutely awesome and totally free! (I use it together with BATC tbw, I don't use the AIG TC.) Edited January 16, 20251 yr by mistolip

January 16, 20251 yr I have never had any problem with the downloads, and always quick for me. I don't have every one, just all the carriers where I fly and no GA/corporate/private.

I too found that changing my location via a VPN solved it for me. Dave
