Then add an extra view and check your franerate again. The same wheh adding your third view. You will see that your FPS drop 40-50% with each extra view I have a 4090 , ASUS ROG mobo, 13900F @ 5,3/5.5 GHz , 2Tb M2 and push/pull liquid cooling system. Here my server runs 2 outside views and I have a Left view client to keep FPS high. All running in 4K. Almost all settings at Ultra and some at High. PSXT Live Traffic with Lots of AI ac. REX Atmos. DLSS 4. It is exoensive to keep on upgrading 2 pc’s so a couple of months ago I tried with 3 views and I lost almost 50% FPS. I tested with 1, 2 and 3 views and every extra view resulted in almost 50% less FPS. Here a vid : all in 4K + Map Enhancement Mod (Latest Bing in HD) I run four exterior views and my frames don't drop 50% for each additional view added into the mix. According to your specs you are running 5 computers with 3 4090 cards, one 3090 and one 1080ti. It's not surprising you are not observing the typical fps drop. This is not in any way comparable to running multi monitors on a single pc, whether it has one or 2 graphics cards. John B

Only thing turned down are the windshield effects as I don't see them with my setup. Hi, I only run multiple computers when running X-Plane 12 via networking. MSFS is not capable of inhouse networking, hence why I run seven monitors via one computer in 2020. The extra memory I have on the 4090 could be all the difference in performance, it also depends on the CPU in use on his end and where the bottleneck exists. I've suffered from stutters in the past and it all had to do with certain drivers/settings, DLSS4 makes a big difference in performance when installed correctly. February 20, 20251 yr With my 4070 (not ti nor super) 12 GB: I can run two 1440p 16:9 monitors. But not in TAA nor DLAA. And not in DLSS quality with Ultra preset. In fact the game freezes up every few minutes, completely freezes. But with DLSS Balanced and rendering High End, it all works perfectly smooth everywhere for flights lasting an hour or longer. Always. My fps locks at 72 and stays there at 72 (2X LS with RLSS locked at 36). Monitor set to 75Hz refresh rate. Amazing the difference reducing settings does. Never an issue. I almost never see the fps go below 69, even in high dense airports. I use full screen (alt enter) and then LS scaling. It covers the both screens. nvidia surround, native FG off because the newer versions of LS does FG better. I don't think I could run 3 screens with my hardware (and I don't have room for three 32" monitors anyway). The 12 GB gpu is the problem, probably. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
February 20, 20251 yr I use a three Monitor setup for years now ( all in 4k ) and have no problems at all using MSFS2020. To say i use one Monitor for MSFS2020 and the others for LNM and other stuff and i have a superb performance and fluid with MSFS2020. You're running MSFS on one monitor and some desktop apps on the others. I run MSFS 2020 across 3 48" 4K OLEDS and agree with @GSaldenthat each additional monitor will cut your frames more or less in half. Thats what i say with that, not using all three monitors for MSFS but like this mine is fine ! And for your setup it is only logical that you have performance problems and that will never really work because the performance and the fluid always go down the drain, ( not even with future graphics cards ), not the next years i assume !!! cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
February 20, 20251 yr After Mike cleared up why he did not have a performance drop of 40-50% with each extra outside view ( he uses a high end gpu for each outside view ) of you only have 1 gpu connected to 3 outside views you will experience lower performance. In my case I am using just 1 extra outside view so my 4090 has a relaxed life. My biggest performance hit is using PSXT live Traffic. At Fly Tampa EHAM (Amsterdam) with 40 parked ac and 14 moving ac this hits performance. Then icw with bad weather my framerate drops to 37-39. But using Lossless Scaling I always see 60 FPS on both screens. I recently tried with 3x 4K but then performance was 22-23 FPS ( without LL ) 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
